A beautiful day was had in the sun on Thursday, watching Margaret Jurd College students receive their well-earned awards at the end of Semester 1. The delight on the students’ faces (and mirrored on their supporting family members’ faces) was so lovely to see!
A crew of five from GPUC travelled up to help with the BBQ lunch and to be part of the audience for this important school year occasion.
Darren Twist wrote to us afterwards:
“I just wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the presence of the Gordon Pymble Working Party today for the MJC Celebration. As usual they were an immense help and… more to the point… they filled out the presence today which gives my students a sense of community and care—something that, as
I know you are aware, they lack!”
GPUC has been invited to the launch of MJC’s new branding, which is likely to take place in either late November, or early December. We’re sure we can get a few carloads going to show our support and it will be a great opportunity to see the school in action.
